The Wedding of LARA StuKa Pilot & Builder, Jeff Willoughby.

You are cordially invited to the German wedding-in-uniform of Luftwaffe Stuka pilot Johann Warsteiner (Mr. Jeff Willoughby) and Professor Gretchen Mueller (Dr. Rebecca Lynn Willoughby) at the WWII weekend event at the Reading Airport. The wedding will take place at the LARA encampment and will be followed by a reception including a hot lunch, dessert, music and dancing.

The public is invited to the wedding ceremony but the reception is limited to invited reenactors only and authorized guests of the LARA and the bride and groom. The meal served will be kapusta (cabbage, potatoes, sausage, onion), bread, cheeses and of course, cake. According to airport regulations no alcoholic beverages will be permitted. A nominal minimum donation per person will be required by the invited reenactors and guests to cover the expenses of the caterer and chef, Greg Ludwig.

Rain date will be Friday, June 4 at noon if Saturday's forecast is threatening storms.

The ceremony will be performed by Grossdeutschland's chaplain Sam Bower with Oli Ecke translating to English for the spectators.

Jeff & Rebecca were legally married May 29, 2010 and consider this a continuation of their wedding celebration for you, their reenacting friends and extended family. (Please, no gifts are expected or necessary.)
